Overview
Vertex is one of the region’s few comprehensive trichology and hair loss centres of excellence. We combine hair transplant surgery, hair loss medicine and scalp disease management under one roof. In addition, we are actively involved in International hair and trichology conferences and seminars, as part of our Continuous Medical Education and research interests.
The team is led by our Founder and Medical director- Dr. Taleb Barghouthi. Dr. Barghouthi is a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Following graduation, he completed his Basic Surgical Training in Dublin and obtained his Intercollegiate Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons. He then pursued a Higher surgical training in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the same college. Dr. Barghouthi developed an interest in the advancing field of Hair restoration while in Ireland. He then attended a dedicated fellowship program in Hair restoration surgery in the United States. Only 5 approved programs globally offer such dedicated training in the field.

- Dr. Taleb Barghouthi is a graduate of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Following graduation he completed his basic surgical training in Dublin and obtained his Intercollegiate membership in the Royal College of Surgeons. He then pursued higher surgical training in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the same college.
- Dr. Barghouthi developed an interest in the advancing field of surgical hair restoration while in Ireland. He attended a dedicated ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Society) fellowship program in the United States and Poland, where he gained considerable knowledge in both Follicular Unit Strip Surgery (FUSS) and Follicular Unit Excision (FUE).
